This Privacy Policy explains how Hush: All Noise Colors & Sleep ("Hush", "the app", "we", "our", or "us") accesses, collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use the Hush mobile application.

Overview
Hush is a minimalist sound and sleep sound app that provides audio loops, sound mixes, sleep timer features, background playback, onboarding preferences, optional premium subscriptions, and local reminders.
Hush does not require you to create an account to use the app. We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, health records, microphone recordings, or payment card numbers through the app.
The app may collect limited data needed to operate, improve, secure, and monetize the service, including app usage events, diagnostics, device and app information, in-app purchase status, and local app preferences.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide or Select in the App
Hush may process information you choose in the app, such as:
- onboarding choices, including sleep, focus, relaxation, or sound preferences;
- selected sounds, moods, sound categories, sound mixes, volume choices, and sleep timer settings;
- premium feature interactions and subscription status;
- notification/reminder preferences, if reminders are enabled or permission is granted.
Most app preferences are stored locally on your device. Some preference-related events may be sent to analytics providers to help us understand how users interact with the app and improve the product.
Usage and Analytics Data
We may collect app activity and analytics data, such as:
- screens viewed and navigation flow;
- onboarding progress and completion;
- selected sound or mood categories;
- feature usage, including sleep timer and premium feature interactions;
- session timing, time spent, and general engagement events;
- app version, build mode, platform, device type, and technical identifiers used by analytics SDKs.
We use this data to understand app performance, improve user experience, debug issues, and make product decisions. We do not use this data for third-party advertising or ad personalization.
Diagnostics and Crash Data
Hush may collect crash reports, logs, error details, stack traces, device information, operating system information, app version, and related diagnostics. This data helps us identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
Purchase and Subscription Data
If you buy a subscription or restore purchases, your purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription entitlement management may be handled through RevenueCat. We may receive purchase status, product identifiers, renewal status, entitlement status, transaction metadata, and related subscription information.
We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
Local Notifications
If you allow notifications, Hush may schedule local reminders on your device. Notification scheduling data, such as reminder state, timestamps, and pending notification payloads, may be stored locally on your device so the app can handle notification taps and reminders.
Hush does not use local notifications to collect precise location, contacts, microphone recordings, or other unrelated sensitive information.
Device Permissions
The current app may request permissions needed for app functionality, such as notification permission on iOS and internet access for online services like analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, Firestore, and purchase services.
Hush does not currently require access to contacts, precise location, microphone recordings, phone/SMS data, or installed app inventory.
How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- to provide and maintain the app's sound playback, sleep timer, preferences, premium access, and reminder features;
- to process, validate, and restore subscriptions and purchases;
- to analyze app usage and improve design, content, performance, and reliability;
- to detect, diagnose, and fix crashes, bugs, errors, and service issues;
- to prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations;
- to respond to privacy requests and support inquiries.
Sharing of Information
We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the app. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and our configuration of their services.
Service providers used or included by Hush may include:
- Firebase and Google services for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, Firestore, and related infrastructure: Firebase Privacy

We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, enforceable government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the app, or others.
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Data transmitted to service providers is generally sent using modern transport security such as HTTPS/TLS.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the app, maintaining purchase entitlements, analytics, diagnostics, security, legal compliance, and support.
Local preferences and notification data may remain on your device until you change settings, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Analytics, crash, and purchase-related records may be retained by our service providers according to their retention settings and legal obligations. We periodically review whether retained data is still needed.
Data Deletion and Privacy Requests
Because Hush does not currently require user accounts, there may be no account to delete inside the app.
You can delete local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through your device settings. You can also contact us at ad97apps@gmail.com to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy support related to data that may be associated with your device, purchase, or support request.
We may need certain information to verify and process a request. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, purchase validation, accounting, or platform compliance purposes.
Your Choices
You can control certain data and permissions through your device settings:
- disable notifications in iOS or Android settings;
- uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device;
- manage subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play account settings;
- use platform privacy settings to limit analytics identifiers where available.
Children's Privacy
Hush is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at ad97apps@gmail.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
International Users
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app or through the store listing where appropriate.
